Der Film Salt ist ein rasanter Agentenfilm. Abwechslungsreich und actionreich. Allein eine Story lässt der Streifen vermissen. Angelina Jolie spielt ihre Rolle als “Salt” gut, ihr im Film deutscher Ehemann wirkt mit dem “german-Akzent” in der Originalversion sympathisch. Einige Logikfehler beinhaltet Jolies Rolle dann doch. Und die Stunts sind zwar rasant und schön anzusehen, aber abseits jeglicher Realität.

Wer einen Actionsteifen sucht und Angelina ansehen mag, der ist mit Salt gut bedient. Wer eine interessante Story mit Hintergrund und Tiefe sucht, der möge sich in den anderen Kinosälen umschauen.

Apple reported that its third-quarter net earnings were $3.253 billion or $3.51 per share, up from $1.828 billion or $2.01 per share in the same quarter last year.

Net sales for the quarter rose to $15.70 billion, from $9.734 billion in the prior year quarter. Apple said that it sold 3.47 million Macs during the quarter, representing a new quarterly record and a 33 percent unit increase over the year-ago quarter. The Company sold 8.4 million iPhones in the quarter, representing 61 percent unit growth over the year-ago quarter. Apple sold 9.41 million iPods during the quarter, representing an eight percent unit decline from the year-ago quarter.
